NYC born, R&B singer,/Songwriter, Tynishia Brown a.k.a. Saevi, spent most of her early childhood cultivating and exploring her interests in singing, acting, and dancing. Saevi is one of four sisters and two brothers and was artistically and academically supported by her entire family from the tender age of seven. Saevi raised in the Tribeca area, allowed her to experience the film festival every year. This among many other opportunities allowed her to expand her artistic palette. Her music style is influenced by Jazz, R&B, Hip Hop, and Pop genres.
In the past seven years, she has resided in both New York City & South Carolina to be closer to family and aid her mom as well as continue her college education. Saevi graduated from the College of Charleston in 2018 with a BA in English which speaks to her songwriting skills.
Between work, school, and community service, she found time for several live performances in Charleston, SC, such as Music Farm, John King, Exquis, The Purple Buffalo, River Front in North Charleston (Jazz festival), and other opportunities to name a few.
